StateSide elections have — as is “normal” — shifted Legislative Branch control in opposition to the Executive Branch; for the S&P 500, ’tis typically quipped “gridlock is good”, albeit the Index remains vastly overvalued relative to its constituents’ earnings generation (or lack thereof). At present, the Spoo is the sole BEGOS Market beneath its Neutral Zone for today; above same are the Bond, Euro, Swiss Franc, Gold (back above 4000) and Silver; session volatility is robust with six of the eight BEGOS components having traced in excess of 100% of their EDTRs (see Market Ranges). Of note, (as was effective per Monday’s settle), Oil’s “Baby Blues” of linreg consistency (see Market Trends) confirmed crossing below the key +80%, suggestive of still lower prices near-term: currently 96.74, the 93.20 level appears as structural support. And the Econ Baro looks to October’s ADP Employment data and ISM(Svc) Index, plus September’s Trade Deficit.
